About the conference/industrial exhibition
The SVC is internationally recognized as the most important international conference in vacuum coaters focused in Vacuum Web Coating, Optical coating, Decorative & Functional Coating, Large Area Coating, Plasma Processing, Process Control & Instrumentation, Emerging Technologies, Tribological & Wear Coating and Product & Technology Forum. The conference assistance is more than 3000 attendees each year within 176 oral technical sessions and a well-attended poster session.
This year’s technical conference in Santa Clara, the heart of California’s Silicon Valley and where the latest technologies for the “Internet of Things” are forged, features a Symposium on “Coating Technologies for the Interconnected Age”. The Symposium will highlight how capabilities within the SVC community relate to advancing mobility, durability and performance of mobile electronics.
There will be two days for industrial exhibition; all the companies will have the opportunity to show the latest machine for different purposes related to vacuum coatings. There is a technical session where the subject is HiPIMS and short courses and Focused Topic Sessions (FTS) will be offered throughout the conference week.
Ionautics’ goal for the conference
Rafael Sanchez is in charge of the industrial exhibition; the conference features a two-day industrial exhibition. The HiPIMS technology is the core plasma technology of Ionautics and is also the major contribution of Ionautics to the HIPPOCAMP project (HiPIMS plasma generators, bias units, diagnostics etc.). The industrial exhibition is open to the public, expositors, technicians and so on.
